What is Telehealth?

Telehealth for psychology, or online psychology, refers to the provision of mental health services, including but not limited to online therapy and counselling, through digital platforms such as video calls.

This modality enables people to receive psychological care remotely, offering convenience, accessibility, and flexibility while maintaining confidentiality and personalised treatment.

online therapy

Telehealth breaks down geographical and schedule barriers, making mental health care accessible regardless of your location through Online Therapy.

Why Choose Online Therapy?

Whether you have a busy schedule, are a stay-at–home mum, are traveling, or live in a remote area, online therapy through telehealth makes it easy to connect from the comfort of the place of your choice. Through secure and private video calls, you can get the support without the need for in-persons visits.

And yes, you can receive Medicare rebates for Telehealth Therapy:
The Australian government has expanded the Medicare initiative in response to COVID-19, allowing individuals with a mental health care plan to receive Medicare rebates for psychological telehealth services. This means that telehealth therapy is eligible for Medicare rebates.
